It serves over 20,000 residents living in the city of BRF and the villages and/or townships of Melrose, Franklin, Irving, Manchester, Millston, Springfield, Albion, Brockway, Curran, Hixton, Alma, Alma Center, Adams, Komensky, City Point, Garden Valley, Merrillan, Hatfield, Dewhurst and Mentor.      On a Sunday morning in March of 1860, a disastrous fire occurred in Black River Falls (BRF). The entire business district burned down with the exception of three buildings. Hosts for this year’s Sundae on the Farm is the team at McNulty Family Farms. Sundae on the Farm is hosted by the Jackson County Dairy Promotion Committee and is being held Sunday, July 10. Some of the crew were on hand last week following breakfast at the farm. Pictured above are (kneeling) Ryan, (standing, l-r) Jared, Bill, Jesse, Cathy Hart and Sam. 

   The tradition of sitting down for breakfast every morning at 9 a.m. started years ago with Bill and Sam’s mom Margie. Today, it’s Cathy at the stove cooking up bacon, eggs and pancakes. 

   Sundae on the Farm begins at 9 a.m. with a church service lead by Pastor Bill from Pine Hill Church of Christ. Located at N4910 Matson Road, guests to McNulty Family Farms can enjoy ice cream sundaes, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese curds and milk, along with a host of fun family activities.
