Opal Jessop

     Opal Jane (Larson) Jessop, 88, died Friday May 27, 2022, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Black River Falls surrounded by her loved ones and caregivers.

     Opal was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Taylor to Floyd and Cora (Arneson) Larson.

     Opal was a stay-at-home mom, together with her husband of nearly 70 years, Thomas Leo Jessop. Together they had three boys. 

     Surviving Opal are her sons, Joe (Jean) Jessop and Perry (Sara) Jessop; her three grandchildren; and her three great-granddaughters.

     Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents, Floyd and Cora Larson; her son, Bill; and her siblings.

     A graveside service for Opal will be held Wednesday morning, June 1, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Friends are welcome to attend.
