Dixie Lunderville

     Dixie M. Lunderville, 73, of Merrillan passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston. She was born Dec. 24, 1948, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Mavis (Davis) and Clarence Dugan.

     Dixie grew up in Black River Falls and graduated from Black River High School in 1967. She married the love of her life, Alvin Ray Lunderville, June 22, 1968, at the Methodist Church in Black River Falls. Early in life, she worked at the Roma Pizza plant in Black River Falls, followed by working part-time at Band Box. She then went on to provide childcare at home. Dixie enjoyed taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also had a passion for collecting angels and enjoyed watching and purchasing from QVC.  

     Dixie is survived by her husband, Alvin; children Wayne (Gween), Tanya (Chuck) Bunde and Dawn Lunderville; grandchildren Devin, Shawn, Dillan and Jenna; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Judy) Dugan and Edwin (Darlene) Dugan; and one sister, Kim (Mike) Sieber.  

     She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Diane Mason and brother Harold Dugan.

     A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, with Rev. Terry Marg officiating.  

     The Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
