JOHN RICHARD WYSS, JR.

     John Richard Wyss, Jr, born Feb. 22, 1936, died peacefully in Gilbert, AZ, Oct. 23, 2022. He was born in Black River Falls, WI, to John and Ida Lilian (Hoem) Wyss. He married Jane Casper and they later divorced. He then married Wilma (Smith) Newell. 

     John enjoyed farming, basketball and snowmobiling. Motorcycling was also his passion, especially riding Harley’s with Lennie and Gale. After retiring to Arizona, John was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing in a local pool league. 

     He was survived by his wife, Wilma; his sister, Betty (Mike) Thomas; his son, Troy (Tari) Wyss; daughter Nancy (Joe) Forman; daughter Dawn (Tom Bahr) Wyss; daughter Sarah Wyss; his stepson Graig (Nancy) Newell; and his stepson Mike (Judy) Newell. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lavern (Bud); his sister, Ruth Huber, and his son, Gregory Wyss. 

     A memorial service will be determined at a future date.
