DALLAS R. BLAIR

     Dallas R. Blair of Black River Falls, WI, passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife Oct. 11, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI. He was 80 years old. 

     Dallas was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Columbus, IN, to Chester and Emlean Blair. At age 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served six years aboard aircraft carriers during the Vietnam War. He married his wife (Shirley Blair) of 50 years in 1972, and had one son. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and riding his three-wheeler motorcycle. 

     He is survived by his wife, Shirley Blair; his son and daughter-in-law, Dallas A. and Melissa Blair; four grandkids and his sister, Mary Jane Blair. He lived a long and happy life, had many accomplishments and will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.

     A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
