DENNIS JAHN

     Dennis Wayne Jahn, 65, passed away Nov. 15, 2022, in Virginia City Highlands, Reno, NV. 

     He was born Nov. 6, 1957, to Le Verne and Ellen (Holub) Jahn. He attended grade school and high school in Alma Center, graduating in 1976. He later attended technical school in Red Wing, MN, for solar energy.

     Dennis married Pam Savage of Black River Falls in September of 1985. They moved to the Reno, NV area shortly after getting married. They later divorced, but Dennis loved the area and always remained there. He was a gifted jack-of-all-trades, doing concrete, carpentry, and metal work. He also ran heavy equipment. He loved driving around and showing you the projects he was involved in and what his contribution was to it. We are very proud of the work he accomplished.

     We are thankful that he made it home to Alma Center this past August for the Holub family reunion, where he saw many relatives he hadn’t seen in years. He played corn hole, told stories and had a great time. He was so looking forward to the next reunion July 2023. 

     Dennis is survived by his brother, Bernard Jahn (Debbie), of Alma Center; his sister, Linda Bradley (Bryan), of Eau Claire; several nephews, nieces, aunts, an uncle and many cousins. He also leaves behind his special friend of many years, Kathleen Hanley, in Reno, Nv.

     A celebration of life will be held in July 2023.
