MEREDYTH KING

     Our loving, caring and kind-hearted mother, sister and friend, Meredyth King (Meyer), 76, of Hixton, WI, (formerly Neenah, WI), left us for her beautiful garden in the heavens Jan. 16, 2023, following a fight with brain cancer. As the oldest sister of eight, Meredyth was always taking care of others, helping with her younger siblings and enjoying a long, fulfilling career as a registered nurse. Meredyth lived on a beautiful farm with her partner of 15 years, Bob Darkow, and dog Izzie. She loved spending summers outside tending to her garden, always finding new recipes for canning, pickling and preserving the abundance of fruits and vegetables she cultivated. She played flute in her community band and attended Northfield Lutheran Church. Meredyth was deeply loved and will forever be missed by family and friends.

     Meredyth is survived by; her son, Brad (Julie) King; and grandchildren, Wyatt, Eden and Landon; her daughter Amy (Troy) Heflin, and grandchildren Bodie and Saige; her partner, Bob Darkow; and her siblings, Mike, Margo, Melissa, Marcus, Mindy and Murray.

     Meredyth was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joanne Meyer (Neenah, WI), and sister Mia Meyer.

     A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
