BEVERLY JEAN (HORN) PETERSON

Beverly Jean (Horn) Peterson, 84, of Hatfield, WI, passed away Friday, Nov. 24, surrounded by her loving family. “Bev” fought hard the past nine months trying to recover from a major stroke.

Bev was born Oct. 20, 1939, to Oscar and Bertha (Ramsey) Horn. She was raised in Minneapolis, MN, and spent summers at the family farm in Franklin, WI.

Bev was loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family enjoyed her homemade bread, cookies and of course, her famous “Cream Chicken over Biscuits.” She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel as well as Packers and Badgers games.

Together, Harry and Bev made many lasting friends and had lots of fun on their journey through life.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; infant twin sister Barbara; brothers Richard, Miles, Marvin and Gaylord; and sisters Birdine, Adella, Delores, and Lois.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful and kind people who cared for her at Gunderson La Crosse, Gunderson Whitehall and Dove Health Care Osseo. Many friendships were formed over the past nine months.

A mother’s love is a once-in-a-lifetime gift; thank you mom for loving us.
