Audrey E. (Dunn) Scallen

     Audrey E. (Dunn) Scallen, passed away Nov. 1, 2023, in Black River Falls, WI. Audrey was born May 25, 1928, to Earl and Hazel (Townsend) Dunn. She was united in marriage to Donald G. Scallen Dec. 2, 1948; he preceded her in death Sept. 16, 2000.

     Audrey and Don loved to travel and so enjoyed the RV trips they shared through the years. Audrey and Don lived in California and Montana and in later years settled in Merrillan, WI.

     Surviving Audrey are her children, Sandi (Gary) Crawley, Star (Bruce) Gasch, Rick (Jane) Scallen, Tim Scallen and Don Scallen; sister-in-law Lois Dunn; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents Earl and Hazel; siblings Lorraine (Charles) Kilburg, Elaine Zemke, DeVon (Dale) Mauer, Cheryl Walton, Kenneth (Betty) Dunn, Donald Dunn and Floyd Dunn.

     A private burial will be held June 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Rest Cemetery in Hixton, WI. Family and close friends are welcome to attend.
