RONALD L. WALLACE
Ronald L. Wallace, 86, passed away Nov. 8, 2024, at Meadowbrook in Black River Falls.
Ron was born March 2, 1938, to Gordon and Evelyn Wallace.
He was united in marriage to Dorothy Rhodes July 25, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beloit. He worked at Woodward Governor as a draftsman in Beloit. He also worked in the Jackson County Iron Mine and before retirement he worked maintenance out at the Ho-Chunk Casino in Black River Falls.
Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, going out to the casino and traveling. He liked being surrounded by family and friends; he was always worried about family members and wanted to make sure that they were taken care of.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Cody Wallace.
Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy; daughter Debbie (William) Youngthunder; and son Rene (Diane) Wallace; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; siblings Gary (Diane) Wallace, Gyneth Wallace and Mavis (Jim) Benkovich.
The graveside service for Ron will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Shamrock Union Cemetery in the township of Manchester.
Buswell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
