PAMELA A JOHNSON

     Pamela A Johnson, 70, passed away Tuesday June 24, 2025, at Mayo Hospital in Sparta, WI. 

     She was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1954 to Silas Johnson and Dagmar (Herta) Johnson. She graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1973 and spent most of her life in the Black River Falls, WI area.

     She loved fishing and tending to her gardens as well as spending time with friends, family and her kitties, Leo and Sadie.

     She is survived by her significant, other Craig Smithback of Black River Falls, WI; mother Dagmar Johnson of Black River Falls, WI; her brothers, Mike Johnson of Wausau and Steve (Vicky Prindle) Johnson of Merrillan, WI; her two daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Nielsen of Sparta, WI, and Christina Kernan of Manitowoc, WI; her three grandchildren as well as a niece and nephews.

     The family would like to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to Rolling Hills, Lanham Schanhofer Funeral Home, Black River Falls Memorial Hospital, Krohn Clinic, Gundersen Hospital and Mayo Hospital in Sparta for their services.
