     Ryan Joe Appel, 51, of rural Arcadia died Monday, Aug. 11, 2025 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

     Ryan was born Oct. 7, 1973, in Rapid City, SD, to Joe and Cheryl (Doud) Appel.

     Ryan was a lover of fast cars, women, music, and tattoos. He loved to spend his time tinkering on motors or fishing.

     Ryan is survived by his siblings Dawn, Jamez, Amy and Shawn; his son Kyle; and grandchildren Kegan, Izabella, Henasey, Jordyn and Chevelle.

     He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Ryan will be dearly missed and a celebration of life for Ryan was held Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Riverside Memorial Park Log Cabin Upper Shelter on North Park Road in Blair.
