Scott Raymond Cummings

Scott Raymond Cummings of Fort Collins, CO, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. He was born Feb. 19, 1957, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to Robert and LaVon (Carson) Rogness.

Scott graduated from Black River Falls Senior High School in 1975.  Scott attended Western Wisconsin Technical College for draftsman and at the time of his death was employed at Colorado State College in Fort Collins. Scott cherished a special relationship with his Uncle Richie and Aunt Mary Storandt from West Salem, WI. He spent many summers with his cousins on the farm in West Salem. Scott was a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. 

He is survived by his sisters, Shawn (Jim) Frederikson, Sheryl (Dan) Millis, Jo (John) Chrest and Carla (Richard) Nemitz; and brother Ron (Summer) Rogness; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by son Ian Cummings; his parents, Robert and LaVon; and stepfather Vernon Rogness; his brother, Steven (Debra) Cummings; brother-in-law Jim Frederikson; and sisters Roseanne (Robert) Wagner and Janice (Gene) Stubrud.

A private family burial and celebration of Scott’s life will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
