Weston Dean Kyser

Weston Dean Kyser

With profound sadness and immeasurable love, we announce that our precious son, Weston Dean Kyser, gained his angel wings on June 12, 2026, while surrounded by his family and wrapped in endless love.

Weston was born on Sept. 10, 2025, and from the moment he entered the world, he captured the hearts of everyone around him. His beautiful, big, blue eyes could light up any room and melt the hearts of all who met him. Because of those unforgettable eyes, mom lovingly nicknamed him her “Blueberry Boy”, a name that quickly became a cherished part of who he was. His gentle spirit, sweet smile, and quiet strength brought joy to everyone, fortunate enough to know him.

At six months old, Weston was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, a rare and devastating genetic disorder. Throughout every challenge he faced, Weston showed a strength that inspired everyone around him. He endured more in his brief life than most do in a lifetime, yet he continued to teach those around him the true meaning of courage, resilience, and unconditional love.

Weston was deeply loved by his parents, siblings, grandparents, extended family, friends, medical teams, hospice caregivers, and the countless people who followed his journey and became part of his village. He reminded us to cherish every moment, celebrate every smile, and find joy even in the smallest victories.

Above all else, Weston was a beloved son, little brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was the center of his family’s world. His sisters adored him, and the bond they shared was one of pure and unconditional love. While our hearts are shattered by his loss, we find comfort in knowing that Weston is free from pain and finally at peace.

Though we would give anything for more time, we are forever grateful for every second we were blessed to spend with him. Weston may have been with us for a short time, but he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and hope that will continue to inspire others for years to come.

Weston is survived by his parents, Andrea and Nicholas Kyser; his sisters, Lexie and Madison; grandparents, Dean Danielson, Tammy (Brad) Handly, Susan Kyser, and Peter (Liana) Kyser; aunts, Natalie Danielson and Bailey (Cory) Hershkowitz; great-grandparents Jill and John Higgins and Karen Danielson; as well as numerous great-grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and the countless friends and supporters who became known as Weston’s Warriors.

Weston is preceded in death by his unborn sister, Leah Marie; great-grandfather Arlan Danielson; great-grandparents Jacob and Lucille Kyser; and great-grandmother Joyce Blaken.

An evening visitation for Weston will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Black River Falls. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.

Our Blueberry Boy, you changed our lives forever. Thank you for every smile, every cuddle, every lesson, and every moment. Your beautiful blue eyes, your strength, and your love will remain in our hearts forever. We will carry you with us always until we meet again.

“Sometimes the smallest footprints leave the biggest marks on our hearts.”

Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
