AARON “STUMPY” HARRIS

Aaron “Stumpy” Harris passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 7, 2023, in the company of his favorite companion, Mokie. He was an image interpreter in the U.S. Army from 1980 through 1983. He worked many years as a 911/ambulance dispatcher, which created a love for helping others and always having their back.

He enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends from Alaska to Maine, Montana to Arizona to Mississippi. Once retired, he enjoyed cooking, maple syrup making, wood fires, fishing and staying connected to his many friends and classmates.

Aaron is survived by his wife of 40 years, Glennda. Also surviving are his daughter, Bianca (Mike); son Joshua (Tanya); six grandchildren Cheyenne, Kaitlynn, Connor, Sophie, Rowan and Gavin; two sisters, Pauline (Calvin) and Carla (Curtis); as well as several nieces and a nephew. He leaves many friends in the Hobo community, law enforcement/healthcare coworkers and fellow survival enthusiasts.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Roy, mom Muriel and brother Doug (Arlea).

The Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 715-284-4321.
