ANDREW (ANDY) BOURDO
Andrew (Andy) Bourdo, 65, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at Black River Falls Memorial Hospital.
Andy was born April 23, 1959, to James and Suzanne (Hoffer) Bourdo of Big Bend, WI. He was the middle child of three boys. He graduated in 1977 from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee. He worked 25 years in the foundry at International Truck and Engine - Navistar in Waukesha, WI
He was united in marriage to Kelly Soderberg in 1994 and remains the love of her life.
He enjoyed time with family, fishing, hunting, traveling, WWII and military history and Packer football. He enjoyed working on projects at home, particularly working with wood, skills he learned from his dad – his best friend. Andy was loved by all that knew him, always willing to lend a hand. He attended Parkview Church in Black River Falls and lived his faith, sharing kindness and his love of the Lord. He always considered his greatest joy and privilege to be father to Amanda and husband to Kelly. He loved his family dearly and they were always his priority.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Bourdo.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly; daughter Amanda (Nikki) Powell; brother Eric Bourdo (Kim); his sisters-in-law, Kari Hicken and Kim Weber (Dave); his mother-in-law, Mary Soderberg, along with nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
The celebration of life for Andy will be held at the VFW Post 5716 located at 17980 W Beloit Road, New Berlin, WI, Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. and service at 3 p.m.
