ARLYCE BAHNUB
Arlyce Bahnub, 93, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Grand View Nursing Home in Blair, WI.
Arlyce was born July 30, 1931, in Cataract, WI, to Violet and Alvin Parlow. They lived in Melrose and then moved to Black River Falls.
Arlyce graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1948.
In addition to her “farmers wife barn duties,” Arlyce worked at the courthouse in Black River Falls, as a dietary aide at Pine View Nursing Home and a greeter at McDonalds in Black River Falls.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Bahnub; her sister, Phyllis (Waughtal) McCormick; nephew Steven Waughtal; and son Mark Bahnub.
Arlyce is survived by her children, Connie Kain (Bill), Betty Bills (Mike), Kaye Quall (Randy); daughter-in law Rebecca Ihle; and nephew Patrick McCormick. Arlyce has eight grandchildren, Shelly Asmussen, Jason Dormady, Lori Wittkopp, Lisa Bills, Kevin Bills, Katrina Quall, Alisha Quall and Bryan Bahnub. Arlyce has 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Little Norway Lutheran Church. A visitation was held at the church from 10 a.m. until the service with burial and committal following the service. All in attendance were invited to join the family in a meal and fellowship at the Black River Falls American Legion, Hwy. 54, Black River Falls.
