BARBARA J. HART

BARBARA J. HART

Barbara J. Hart, 66, of Merrillan died peacefully Wednesday morning, Sept. 11, in her home.

Barbara was born June 30, 1958, to Joseph and Loretta (Terborg) Hebein in Milwaukee and graduated from Lincoln High School in Alma Center in 1976.

Barbara married Dale R. Hart June 24, 1978, and together they had three children. During their childhood years, she worked from home creating hand-painted decorative art that she sold at local craft shows. As the kids grew and entered high school, she began working at Deer Creek Trading Co. in Black River Falls and learned her knack for creating the perfect latte (always made with love) and her love for people. She worked as a barista at the local coffee shops and retired from Revolution in downtown Black River Falls in 2020 to pursue her love for creating beautiful pottery. She loved a good cup of coffee, a good glass of wine, spending time with her sisters and creating art with her most beloved friend, Anne.

Barbara’s greatest love and gift was being a wife and a mother. She poured her heart and soul into her family, teaching them relentless, nourishing, unconditional love, creativity, passion for nature’s gifts and faith in God. Barbara also cherished her fellow “creative weirdos”.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale; her three children, Julia (Josh) Carlson, Jenna (Andrew) Hart-Koxlien and Jacob (Stephanie) Hart; her Pa; Ralph Ringlien; seven grandchildren; four sisters; three sister-cousins; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her two most beloved friends, Cindy Conforte and Anne Jensen.

A celebration of life for Barbara J. Hart will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Barbara and Dale’s home at N8492 E Snow Creek Road, Merrillan, WI 54754.

Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton has been entrusted to Barbara’s care and arrangements.
