BEVERLY ROCHESTER

     Beverly M. Rochester, 82, of Alma Center passed away peacefully May 17, 2023, at Black River Memorial Hospital.

     Beverly was born July 11, 1940, the daughter of Elmer and Nettie (Johnson) Rochester. Beverly grew up in the Shamrock area and later lived in the Millston/Warrens area until moving to Alma Center.

Beverly was employed for several years at Mosser Lee in Millston, where she made many friends.

     Beverly will be remembered for her smile and carefree personality. She loved to be outdoors being busy, whether vegetable gardening, flower gardening or just enjoying nature’s beauty. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and singing.

     Beverly was always up for a visit from family. She enjoyed chatting with her many nieces and nephews and was especially excited when there was a little one to snuggle. Beverly was a very compassionate person. Everyone loved her dearly.

     Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Nettie; brothers Don, Robert and Louis; sisters Mabel Lambert, Geraldine Gilbertson and Loretta Stetzer.

     She is survived by sisters Lavern Blazek of Alma Center, Diane Demaske of Black River Falls and Louise Schlintz of Melrose; sister-in-law Luann Rochester of Black River Falls; along with numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

     Services were held Tuesday, May 23, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Warrens, WI, beginning at 2 p.m. Friends are invited to visitation from noon until the time of service.
