BONNIE JEAN OLVER

 

     Bonnie Jean Olver (Thompson) sadly passed on May 3, 2023, after a long and happy life of 88 years. She was born July 7, 1934, the daughter of Osberne and Agnes Thompson, Hixton, WI. She lived her childhood on “the farm,” which held many happy memories for her.

     She was married to the late Donovan Olver and lived in Madison, WI, for her adult life. Bonnie was a beautiful human being who spread joy and happiness wherever she went and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and worked in management of a garden center until retirement.

     She was the sister of the late Rev. Richard Thompson and is survived by her sister Ruth Casper, Hixton, WI, and her children, Iris Mickey (Laurie Olver) in Madison, WI, Brian Olver in Fort Collins, CO, and Craig Olver in DeForest, WI; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Lindsey, Madison, Cameron, Alex and Jack; her great-grandchildren, Mya, Sawyer, Cooper and Liliana; nieces and nephews Aaron and Ann Caspe, Dawn Papenfuss, Debbie Paulsrud and David Thompson.

     Per Bonnie’s request, there not be a public service.
