It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Bonnie Lou Hodgdon, Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at age 89 in San Jose, CA, with her two daughter’s and son by her side. She was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Black River Falls, WI, to her parents, Arthur S. Peterson and Evelyn Baily Peterson.  She had two sisters (Sue and Arland (Petie)) and four brothers (Terry, Kenneth, Everette and Lamoine). 

Bonnie is survived by her beloved three children (Cindra, Lisa and Scott), five grandchildren (Jarrett, Jonah, Josie, Chase and Christian) and one great-grandchild (Ziggy). 

Bonnie married Ronald Charles Hodgdon June 4, 1955, at Squaw Creek Lutheran Church. They divorced in October of 1971.

Bonnie was an amazing, talented women. She had a wealth of knowledge. She graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1953. She worked as a flight attendant, court reporter and office manager at Fairchild and Apple.  She could read shorthand fluently, and typed 100-plus words per minute. Bonnie was also a brilliant seamstress and amazing singer who could harmonize to any song. She played the accordion, piano, piccolo, flute and guitar. She was also an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.
