CATHERINE J. MYERS

     Catherine J. (Breheim) Myers, 74, of Merrillan, WI, passed away unexpectedly April 11, 2024. 

     She was born to Wilbert and Hazel (Dunn) Breheim in Merrillan, WI, Nov. 7, 1949. Catherine grew up with her eight siblings in Merrillan and graduated from Alma Center High School with the class of 1967.

     Catherine worked for over 30 years as a certified nursing assistant, caring for people at Central Colony (now the Central Wisconsin Center) in Madison until her retirement.

     She enjoyed crafts, such as crocheting, and adored her dog, Alex, a devoted terrier mix. Above all else, Catherine loved spending time with her five grandchildren. 

     Catherine is survived by her one daughter, Corrie (Brad) Wathen; five grandchildren, Marsha, Joseph, Stephen Stiles, Chloe and Morgan Wathen, along with her brothers; Ernest, David, and Deric Breheim, and sister Vernetta O’Brien.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Hazel; her brothers, Richard, Bradley, Wilbert Jr. and Dane Breheim; and her sisters, Coral Ann, Carol Lee Theiler and Cheryl L. Morgan. 

     A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
