Clarence Christianson

Clarence Herman Christianson, 78, of Osseo (York area) passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Tomah VA.
Clarence was born in Stanley on Oct. 27, 1943, to Harry and Hannah (Olson) Christianson. After school, he worked in the area. From 1967 to 1969, he served in the U.S. Army. From 1970 to 2005 he managed the Northfield Mill in Northfield and then was self-employed until present.
Clarence married Renate (Hagen) Aug. 22, 1970, in Eau Claire.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 51 years, 10 months, Renate; his daughter, Lisa (Jim) Olson of Hixton; two sisters, Beatrice (Donald) Nehring and Doris Troxel both of Augusta; brother Marvin (Judy) Christianson of DeFuniak Springs, FL; sister- in-law Kathi Christianson of Dale, TX; brother-in-law Lester (Kelly) Hagen Jr. of Hastings, MN; nieces and nephews, Diane (Bill) Jaeke, Roger (Thersea Ann) Nehring, Susanne (Dave) Siefert, Carl Christianson, Alex (Brittany) Hagen, Kevin (Emma) Hagen; along with an aunt, several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hannah Christianson; sister Helen; brother Donavon Christianson; brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Troxel; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester Sr. and Anneliese Hagen.
A private memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton. Steve Aldach will officiate. A private internment will take place at Upper Pigeon Creek Cemetery in the town of Northfield immediately after the service.
