CLARK KENT O’BRIEN

     Clark Kent O’Brien, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home in Black River Falls.

     Clark was born Feb. 3, 1953, to Archie and Luella O’Brien in Black River Falls. 

He was united in marriage to Kathy Iverson Nov. 10, 1972. 

     Clark, a fun-loving husband, dad and grandpa, spent his entire adult life loving those that gave him those titles with all he was made of, being sure to never leave a speck of doubt exactly how important each of them were to him.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Luella; siblings Patricia Calken, Elaine Pierce, Donald O’Brien, Keith O’Brien, Archie O’Brien Jr., Mike O’Brien, Robert O’Brien, John O’Brien, Richard O’Brien, Dawn Iverson and Christine Hermanson; niece Jennifer Hermanson and nephews Brock Hermanson, and Jay Iverson.

     Clark’s memory will forever be in the hearts of his wife, Kathy (Iverson) O’Brien; sons Jeremy (Elizabeth) O’Brien, Jesse (Heather Drinkman) O’Brien, Joshua (Amber Parker) O’Brien; grandchildren Nathan, Patrick, Noah, Makayla, Caden, Tyson, Dylan, Connor, Brianna, Sophia, Gracey, (Whyatt and Alexis), (Hunter and Charlotte); great-grandchildren Adalynn, Cameron, Amara and Eleya.

     The funeral service for Clark will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Bridge Church in Black River Falls with Pastor John Cowles presiding. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Torgerson’s Funeral Home Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Visitation will continue at the church Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Brookside Cemetery in Millston. 

     Pallbearers will be Nathan, Patrick, Noah, Tyson, Dylan and Connor (grandsons), walking behind Makayla, Brianna, Gracey and Sophia (granddaughters).

     Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
