CRYSTAL NELSON

     Crystal Charlotte Nelson, 89, of Black River Falls passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. She was the daughter of Charles and Mammie Mavis. She married Vernon P. Nelson June 20, 1953. She was a farm wife most of her life. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and loved animals, especially her dog, Minnie. Her favorite past time was making her own cookbooks.

     Crystal had a natural ability to welcome people into her life. Her favorite words were, “Never Say Never”, so true in life. 

     Crystal is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon. 

     She is survived by her three children, Dave, Rick and June; daughter-in-law Kelly; son-in-law Greg; grandchildren Brittany and Dylan; sister-in-law, Marilyn Lija; niece Bernice; nephew Scott Lija; and her dog, Minnie; along with two long-life friends, Joan McRae and Joyce Klute (her friend for 66 years).

     There will be no services. 

     The Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 715-284-4321.
