DAVID A. KALSTAD

David A. Kalstad, 65, of Black River Falls passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, surrounded by his family.

     Over the years, Dave worked at multiple jobs. He has worked on farms, at Toddle Inn Nursery, Webster’s Sawill, Habelman’s Cranberry Marsh and Mosser Lee. He also had a small landscaping business on the side.

     Davie like to hunt, fish and play Euchre. He also loved to go for rides.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elaine Kalstad, and a brother, Robert.

     Dave is survived by his wife, Kay A. Peterson; his son, Joseph (Kylie) Kalstad of Millston; grandchildren Emma, Caleb and Ava; sisters Carol Bue, Marilyn Lee and Barbara (Virgil) Anderson; stepchildren Mark Peterson and Katie Shaw; four stepgrandchildren, Jason, Brooklynn and Wyatt and Zoey; and nieces and nephews.

     Per Dave’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service.

     A celebration of life will be held at R&R’s First and Last Chance tavern Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1-3 p.m.
