Dr. Daniel K Schoonover

     Dr. Daniel K Schoonover passed away March 21, 2025, after a long illness. He was 69 years old.

     Dan graduated Black River Falls High School in 1974. He served as an Army Paramedic in the 82nd Airborne before attending UW-Eau Claire and getting his medical degree at UW-Madison. Dan was an emergency physician in Fairbanks, AK, where he lived for over 30 years.

     Dan is survived by his brothers, Matt (Mary) and Kent (Ruth); sister Ruanne; and five nephews, Robert (Cynthia), Stephen (Christina), Michael (Jessica), Ryan (Amanada) and Cyrus (Savannah).

     A celebration of life is being held June 7, 2025, at 1 p.m. at his home at 59144 Lucky Lane, Eastman, WI.
