“Hear my words that I might teach you,

Take my arms that I might reach you” – Sound of Silence by Disturbed

Dustin graduated from Lincoln High School in 2001. He started working at Leeson (Regal) in Die-Cast shortly after high school, then pursued his education in HVAC, going to Indiana to do so. Dustin would also then go on to have his oldest, Bryce (23), in 2003, shortly after graduation. Dustin would later marry Bryce’s mother, Tracey Matti, and have three more kids: Landen (19), Ava (17), and Layne (11).

Dustin wrestled throughout his grade school years, earning many trophies. In high school, he was MVP as a pitcher in baseball and played all 4 years of high school. He also would play softball throughout his life. Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, riding motorcycles, doing burnouts until the tires fell off, and taking care of his family.

Dustin was a huge part of the community, like his father, Alan. He will be forever loved and missed by many. He would do HVAC, carpentry, siding, and pretty much anything that got his hands dirty and got him out of the house.

Dustin will be met up in heaven by his grandparents, grandpa Rich and grandma Dee Jingle, grandma Ethel and grandpa James (Jim) Forsting, his father, Alan John Forsting; and his niece, Harley Rain Forsting.

A celebration of Dustin’s life will be held at a later date. Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.
