GLORIA HULETT

GLORIA HULETT

Gloria Jean Hulett, 68, of Northfield, WI, passed away December 15, 2022, at her home. Gloria was born July 17, 1954, in Black River Falls, WI, to Kenneth and Jessie (Mathews) Hulett. She was baptized and confirmed at the Upper Pigeon Creek Lutheran Church. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1972. After high school, Gloria started working at Pine View Care Center nursing home in Black River Falls as a CNA. During her work there, she learned that the health care profession was her calling and proceeded to attend Western Wisconsin Technical College, where she received her degree as a registered nurse (RN). As a RN, she started working at the nursing home in Neillsville, WI. With her dedication to her work, she worked there for 38 years, 25 of those years as the director of nursing. Gloria loved helping the residents, their families and her co-workers. She was very grateful for the friendships she made with her co-workers at the nursing home over the years. In 2020, after the nursing home closed, she retired and moved back to Northfield where she fulfilled her dream of putting a new house on the piece of land she purchased many years prior, which attached to the family farm. Gloria loved reading, movies, shopping, attending country music concerts and going on trips, especially with her four nieces who had a special place in her heart.

Gloria is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Hulett Jr. (Northfield) and LaVern (Mary) Hulett (Northfield); four nieces, Jamie Hulett (Independence), Andrea (Allen) Hanson (Whitehall), LeAnn (Richard Gardner) Hulett (Hixton) and Jenna (Stefanie) Hulett (Northfield); and two great-nephews and one great-niece, Ashton Hanson, Ace Hanson and Alana Hanson (Whitehall).

She is proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Per Gloria’s wishes, there will be no service and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
