HENRY “HANK” ANSON GREEN

 

     Henry “Hank” Anson Green died peacefully Oct. 28, 2024, at Meadowbrook in Black River Falls, surrounded by his family.

     Henry was born Aug. 18, 1957, to Nora (Turner) and Raymond Green Sr. at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. He served for four years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and was honorably discharged Sept. 1, 1984. He enjoyed working on bikes, fishing and spending time with his family. He worked for a while at a fertilizer plant in Darlington. He later, over the years, worked several handy man jobs.

     He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Green; and sisters Gladys (Roger) Luther, Betty (Leonard) Hawley and Rosie Green.

     Hank is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Debra) Green and Raymond “Beaver” Green Jr.; sisters Dorothy (Dave) Birks of Merrillan, Nora (Lee) Kinser of Sparta, and Shirley (Gary) IGL of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.

     As per Hank’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. However, the family will be having a celebration of life for Hank in 2025. 

     Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.
