JASON ROY BROWN

     Jason Roy Brown, 52, passed unexpectedly at his home in Merrillan, WI, Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025.

     He was born Aug. 19, 1972, to Randy and Pamela (Eddy) Brown in Black River Falls, WI. Jason attended school at the Merrillan Elementary School and graduated high school in Alma Center with the class of 1986.

     After graduation, Jason worked for several years doing roofing and construction work and later worked for Millis Transfer.

     He married Ginger Mitchell, and the two later divorced.

     Jason was unique in personality and had a great love for his family and friends. He also loved art, music and playing the drums.

     He is survived by his loving parents, Randy and Pamela; his nephews, Jordan Thomas Couillard and Damien Couillard; his great-niece and great-nephew, Zada and Zavier Couillard; and his special friend and partner, Karen Wall.

     Jason is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his sister, Wendy Jo Brown.

     A celebration of Jason’s life was held Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton, WI. Visitation took place from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Reverend Terry Marg officiated.
