     Joan A. Hickey, 93, passed away Oct. 14, 2025. She was a resident of the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls.

     Joan was the second of seven children, born to Elwood and Corrine Hickey March 10, 1932, in Belfield, ND. Joan spent many hours watching cooking shows on TV, collecting dolls and making her own style of scrapbooks. Scrapbooks have been gifted to each new baby in the family and many, many friends.

     Joan is preceded in death by her parents and siblings James, Jean, Judy, Janice and John. 

     She is survived by sister-in-law Ruth and brother Joel and his wife, Rae Ellen. Also surviving her are 10 nieces and nephews, Lee, Doug, LaRae, Janice, Patrick, Chris, Terri, Lori, Lisa and Deanna; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

     Joan’s ashes will be interred in Belfield, ND, at a later date. No services are planned at this time.
