John Gary Jacobson
John Gary Jacobson, 69, passed away Wednesday Feb. 11, 2026, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Dec. 11, 1956, in Black River Falls, WI, John was the son of Gary and Barbara (Frost) Jacobson.
John graduated from Alma Center, Lincoln High School, in 1975. He married Renee Bergerson, the love of his life, June 27, 1987, in Upper Pigeon Creek Lutheran Church. Their journey led them to adventures in Humbird, WI, Rexford, MT, Gordon, NE, and Medford, WI.
After growing up on his parents dairy farm in Humbird, John bought and operated a dairy farm of his own just down the road from his parents from late 1970s to 2002. He also worked as a crop farmer in Hay Springs, NE, Saltwater disposal operator in the oil fields of Watford City, ND, and a production line worker at Marathon Cheese in Medford, WI.
He enjoyed his Oliver tractors, hunting, fishing and riding snowmobiles with family and friends.
He will be remembered for his hardworking, friendly spirit and his faith in Jesus.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Renee (Bergerson) Jacobson; father Gary Jacobson; sister Rhonda (Jacobson) Junge; brother-in-law Dean Junge; father-in-law Ove Bergerson; and mother-in-law Norma (Nelson) Bergerson.
He leaves behind a rich legacy, survived by his mother Barbara (Frost) Jacobson; sister Rozanne (Jacobson) Voorhies; six children, Micah (Shara) Jacobson, Katie (Namen) Donnelly, Nikki (Cody) Campbell, Corey (Brooke) Jacobson, Sarah Jacobson and Ethan Jacobson; 11 grandchildren, Ezekiel Jacobson, Micaiah Jacobson, Mackenzie Jacobson, Peyton Jacobson, Halen Donnelly, Hiram Donnelly, Heston Donnelly, Anika Campbell, Freya Campbell, Cora Jacobson, and Kinley Jacobson; brother-in-law Rick (Tammy) Bergerson; brother-in-law Russell Bergerson; brother-in-law Ryan (Amelia) Bergerson; along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11 a.m. Feb. 28 at the East Lawn Cemetery on East Limits Road, Alma Center, WI, followed by lunch at Grace Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 200 W. Main Street, Alma Center, WI 54611.
