JOHN R. HUTCHENS

     John R. Hutchens, 67, died at his home in Plainfield, WI, July 30, 2025.

     John was born in New York to Kenneth and Mildred (Brauner) Hutchens Sept. 6, 1957.

     After some time on the east coast, the Hutchens family settled in Black River Falls, WI, where John attended school and graduated from Black River Falls High School. After high school, John managed several Perkins restaurants before turning to commercial painting with Omni Paint and Glass, a career from which he had retired. 

     John is survived by his siblings, Kenny Hutchens, Susan Turtzo, Kathleen Guenther and Lori Tucker.

     He is preceded in death by his wife, Laurie; his parents, Kenneth and Mildred Hutchens; and brother Richard Hutchens.
