JOSEPH P. PAAR

     Joseph P. Paar, 52, of Black River Falls passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls, WI.  He was born March 16, 1970, to Gary L. Paar and Sheala M (Harmon) Lamon in Black River Falls.

     After graduating high school in 1988, Joe joined the Navy and was stationed on a sub tender, the USS Hunley. He had worked at D&S, Stetzer Electric, Wood Sales and Service, Leeson and Nelson. Joe enjoyed hobbies like fishing, target shooting and riding his motorcycle. But, he was really quite the genius when it came to fixing things and fabricating nearly anything he needed or wanted. 

     Joe is survived by his sons, Brandon Paar and Lightning Garvin; stepfather, Bill Lamon; brothers Michael (Christine) Matthews, Scott Paar and Sonny Lamon; sisters Lori (Nathaniel Williams Jr.) Paar, Katharine Paar, Tanya (Reid Ransom) Lemon and BJ (Gary) Jansen.

     He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Paar; mother, Sheala M. Lamon; and father, Gary L. Paar.
