JUNE M. RESHEL

     June M. Reshel, 98, City Point, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

     Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Fred Parker Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at City Point Cemetery, Jackson County.

     June was born June 24, 1926, in Butler to Hugo and Margaret (Roesch) Bublitz. She was united in marriage to Lawrence S. Reshel Oct. 17, 1947. He passed away April 28, 1979.

     June enjoyed tending to her flower garden, and she was a proud member of the Pittsville American Legion Auxiliary for 58 years.

     She is survived by her son, Andy Reshel; daughters Luann (John) Peterson, Sarah (Jim) Grutzik, Peggy (Bart) Klusmeier and Joann Flick; son-in-law Randy Steponik; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter in infancy; daughters Margaret Dupee and Lois Steponik; grandson Richard; two great-grandsons, Erik and Taylor; and siblings Audrey, Violet, Dorothy, Betty, Sonny and Bobby.

     The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs of Black River Falls Memorial Hospital and House of Dove, Marshfield.
