KENNETH MIDDLETON

     Kenneth John Middleton, 35, of Sparta passed away unexpectedly the morning of Sept. 11, 2022.

     Kenneth was born in Black River Falls Oct. 4, 1986, to Joan Buckhannon and Gary Middleton.

     Kenneth grew up and attended school in Black River Falls, excelling in mathematics and woodworking. Growing up, some of his favorite things to do were to go hunting and fishing, but he especially loved to shoot his bow and arrow. His love for archery was a hobby that stuck with him into adulthood as well.

     After high school, he went on to work doing carpentry, which he became very skilled in, so skilled, in fact, that a photo of a bathroom remodeling he did was featured in a magazine. He was an incredibly hard worker and enjoyed keeping busy, so much that even in his spare time, he would often help his friends and family with any kind of renovating or remodeling projects they wanted to do. 

     He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, great-uncle and father.

     Kenneth is survived by his parents, Joan (Robert) Buckhannon and Gary (Dilynn) Middleton; grandmother Daisy Buckhannon; his brother, Jamie (Amy) Zillmer; and sisters Shana Middleton and Misty Short; his two daughters, Gracey and Justice; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

     He was preceded in death by his fiancé Amanda Jones; his maternal grandparents, Donald (Twyla) Gebhardt, Sr.; Robert Buckhannon and cousin Teresa Lamon; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth (Betty) Middleton; and cousin Jenny Ripp.

     Per Kenneth’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with time and location to be announced. 

     The Torgerson Funeral Home of Black River Falls is serving the family.
