KRISTINE J. (CHRISTOPHERSON) LAROCHE

KRISTINE J. (CHRISTOPHERSON) LAROCHE
Kristine J. (Christopherson) Laroche passed away May 22, 2025.
She was born Dec. 25, 1969, to Stanley and June Christopherson, the fifth of seven children. While living in California after high school, she met and married Frank Dubielczyk in 1990, living in both California and Wisconsin at times. They later started a family and had two sons, Cody and Dillon Dubielczyk, who were the highlight of Kris’s life, she loved and adored them.
In 1997, Kris and her family permanently settled in the Alma Center area, outside of town on a few acres. She deeply valued her family and the many large gatherings with mother June, siblings, in-laws, all the nephews and nieces, and usually some cousins or friends too. Many years of get-togethers kept relationships close and created laughs and memories to last forever.
Kris worked various jobs throughout her life, including CNA, property management, food service and one of her favorite jobs, raising calves. She absolutely loved caring for and bottle-feeding calves. She was a hard worker and had a personality suited to waitressing, making people laugh and always leaving a lasting impression on customers and those she worked with.
Kris was a very talented artist who could draw and paint anything very well, often gifting her work to family, a trait she passed on to both Cody and Dillon. She loved animals and had many beloved dogs and cats over the years, ferrets, fish and miniature horses at one time. Kris liked to cook and bake and would make banana bread for family.
It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye. Kris is survived by her two sons, Cody and Dillon Dubielczyk; mother June Christopherson; sisters Judy (Walt) Baldwin, Linda Christopherson, Susan Erickson, Kim (Dave) Blair, and Mary Phalen; brother Steve (Nicole) Christopherson; many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Christopherson, many beloved aunts and uncles, close cousins and a niece.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
