LARRY LAUFENBERG

     Larry Laufenberg of Hixton, WI, passed away peacefully April 19, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 20, 1944, to Gilbert and Fern Laufenberg. He grew up in Alma Center, WI. 

     In 1977, he married the love of his life, Wendy Fox. They shared 48 wonderful years together. On April 1, 1980, they had a daughter, Misty, and on Feb. 25, 1987, their son, Jason, was born.

     Larry had a passion for farming, music and fishing. His family was his life.

     He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his daughter, Misty (Ed) Davis; sisters Joanne Wilson, Debra Laufenberg and Nancy (Chuck) Brantner; brother Gib (Anita) Laufenberg; and three grandchildren, Ethan, Tyrone and Adalee.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Fern; son Jason; sister Diane; and his brothers, Roger, Donald and Jerome.

     A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Sechlerville Cemetery in Hixton at a later date.

     The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs.
