LAURA HAWLEY

Laura Hawley, 35, passed away Sept. 21, 2026.

Laura was born Feb. 6, 1991, to Vonnie Parker and Shelby Hawley at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2010. She attended Western Technical for CNA training. She started working for Ho-Chunk Gaming in Black River Falls in 2016 going from cashier to cage supervisor. 

She loved spending time with friends and family and especially loved bonding with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and painter. She liked roller-skating, bowling, and finding treasures at antique shops. Her home was filled with carnival glass of all colors. She grew up on the farm, where her love of animals took hold. She was a good luck charm, winning raffles and finding the biggest, brightest stones when digging for them. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Vonnie, grandfather Dale “Teddy” Parker and grandparents, Clayton and Joyce Hawley. 

Her bright light will be held in the hearts of her fiancé, Sean Chojnacki; mother Shelby Hawley; sister Courtney (Dan) Hawley; grandmother Bev Parker; nieces and nephews Kurtis Hawley, Ezekiel Puffer, Alister Chojnacki, Gabriel Chojnacki, Iris Chojnacki, Evelynn Regan, Baby Regan (due end of year), along with her fur babies, Gwen, Blue, and Prince. 

Torgerson’s Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
