LUCAS ADAM BERGERSON

LUCAS ADAM BERGERSON
Lucas Adam Bergerson, 42, of Northfield, WI, passed away unexpectedly June 20, 2025.
Lucas was born in Beaver Dam and raised in Northfield, WI, the beloved son of Lonny and Clark Bergerson. He grew up surrounded by the love of his siblings, Dustin and (Jill) Bergerson, DeAnn and (Dale) Buechel and Cari Bergerson and (Craig Eklov).
Lucas was known for his incredibly kind heart, contagious smile and unforgettable laugh. He had a special place in his heart for Kwik Trip and dedicated many years to serving his community through his work at Menards for 12 years, Sysco Foods and Family Farms. He will be remembered not just for his big laugh and bigger heart, but for the way he made people feel — seen, loved and welcomed. He didn’t need grand achievements to leave a legacy. He did it with his presence, his humor and the deep love he gave so freely.
Above all, Lucas was a devoted father who would do anything for his children, Noelle, Aryanna, Lyrik, Ethen and Peyten. His love for them knew no bounds, and he continuously sought ways to connect with them. He even took swimming lessons to share in their joy and create lasting memories together. Whether he was telling a terrible dad joke, making funny faces just to get a smile or showing up in every way that mattered, he brought light and laughter into their lives. He loved deeply, and his goofy, tender-hearted nature made him a safe place for his kids and everyone who knew him.
Lucas shared a loving life with his fiancée, Sara Ruff, whose partnership and friendship brought him strength, joy and a future full of plans and possibilities.
He is survived by his parents, Clark and Lonny Bergerson; his siblings, Dustin (Jill) Bergerson, DeAnn (Dale) Buechel and Cari Bergerson (Craig Eklove); his kids, Noelle, Aryanna and Lyrik Bergerson and Peyten and Ethen Ruff; and goddaughters Lilah Bergerson and Emerald Johnson. Lucas also had many cherished nieces and nephews
Lucas is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Howard Gilles; his paternal grandparents, Olgert and Bertha Bergerson; his paternal aunt, Louise Johnson; and his cousin, Kevin Bergerson.
Though gone far too soon, Lucas leaves behind a lasting impact on all who were blessed to know him. His memory lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught and the deep love he gave to his family and friends.
Funeral services for Lucas were held Friday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Community Lutheran Church, with Pastor Clair Dutton and Pastor Elden Simonson officiating. Friends and family were invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service and Thursday, June 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home.
