MICHAEL TESTER

     Mike Tester (1949-2025) passed away on May, 10, 2025, in his home. He was a loyal friend of many, hard worker, proud father and grandfather and lifetime doggie daddy to Desil, Koko and Shakespeare.

     Mike came into this this world April 29, 1949, in Black River Falls, WI, to his parents, Evelyn and John Tester. He graduated from Black River Falls High School and briefly attended college at La Crosse University before enlisting in the United States Army. He met YongYe Sol in Korea and married her in 1970. Together they raised one daughter, Tammy.

     Mike was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and member of the Local 139 Union. Before retiring in 2011, he worked at the Iron Mine, Badger Mining and Hoffman Construction. He never missed a basketball game or tennis match and was immensely proud of his daughter and granddaughter, Kennedy. He was overjoyed to attend the Division 1 state basketball championship this past March to cheer on his granddaughter to their championship win.  

     Mike is survived by his daughter (Tammy) and son-in-law (Dan); their daughters (Kennedy, Bradi, Bryna and Danica); his brother, John; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     At Mike’s request no service or visitation will be held. The family invites you to respectfully celebrate Mike Tester’s memory in your own ways. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
