MICHELE “EDIE” KLING

     Michele “Edie” Kling died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Black River Falls Memorial Hospital from a sudden medical condition. She was born Jan. 4, 1943, in Germany. She moved to the United States and had Cirsten through her first marriage. They later divorced.

     Edie married Duane Kling and they had two sons, Duane William “Bill” Kling and Carson. Edie fished and hunted with her family. Pontooning on Lake Arbutus was one of her favorite pastimes. She was a great cook with her venison fondue and fry bread being favorites of family and friends.

     Edie is survived by her children and grandchildren. Kia, Kirsten, Jamie and Stephanie. She is further survived by Zaria Kling, Zyllah Carnes, Jace Adkins and Liam Adkins, her great-grandchildren.

     Edie is preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her mother; her sisters Alfie and Hanalora; and her brother, Walter.

     A private burial will be held at a later date. 

     Memorials are preferred to the family.
