MITCHELL O. WALKER

     Mitchell O. Walker, 67, of Black River Falls, WI, passed away at his home Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, surrounded by family. 

     Mitchell was born to Oran and Thelma Walker Feb. 4, 1958, in Eau Claire, WI. He was the second youngest of the five Walker children and graduated from Regis High School. He then worked for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for 20 years.

     Mitchell married Debra Holley in 2003, they were married for 22 years. He was an outdoorsman at heart and loved to do everything from hunting and fishing to panning for gold. He loved to ride his motorcycle and took many trips around the United States. He was always on the move and brought Debra along for the adventure.

     He is survived by his wife Debra; his siblings, Edwin (Leora) Walker, sister Jane (Darrell) Kleven; daughter Jennifer (Zach) Fotzler; stepchildren Rachelle (Kevin) Krause, Daniel (Shawna) Vaughn and Sabrina (Jessie) Meyer; and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

     He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Joyce (Russell) Helberg; brother Marshall Walker; and daughter Sarah (Donnie) Walker. 

     A celebration of life will be held from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at American Legion Post 200, 421 WI 54, Black River Falls, WI 54615.
