Patricia Carol Unruh

Patricia Carol Unruh

Patricia Carol Unruh, 84, of City Point, WI, passed away May 27, 2026, in Murfreesboro, TN.  She was born  July 23, 1941, in Chicago, IL, and built a life full of good work, deep roots and a spirit that nobody could talk her out of anything she put her mind to.

Pat spent years in the restaurant business before finding her home at the Black River Falls Casino, where she worked for nearly 20 years before retiring.  She was the kind of woman who could hold a conversation with anyone, and she did, often over a cup of tea with her neighbor, which was just about as close to a daily ritual as she had.

She raised horses for years that her son Randy would later train. She enjoyed a good card game of Canasta, and she had a fearless streak that showed up on the water, where she skied, parasailed, and tackled white water rafting. Animals filled her home her whole life, and her dog, Caramel, had a permanent place at her side.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Unruh; her son, Mark Manuel; and her parents, Walter and Stella Allard.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Manuel (Laura) and Robert W. Unruh (Danielle); her grandchildren, Matt Manuel, Michael Manuel, Erin Manuel, Cassie Manuel, Lane Unruh, Riley Unruh and Cam Unruh; and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held upon her return to Wisconsin. Those wishing to be notified of the details may contact Rob Unruh at 715-864-6702.

Pat will be deeply missed by those closest to her.
