RICKY WALTON

 

 

     Ricky Alan Walton, 64, of Black River Falls, passed peacefully to his heavenly home Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 with his wife Lorrie at his side.

     Rick was born May 1, 1958, in Black River Falls to Arvid and Delores (Jacobson) Walton. He graduated from Black River High School in 1976. On June 8, 1993, he married Lorrie Albright from DuBois, WY, in Las Vegas at the Little White Chapel. The couple lived in Wyoming and California before moving to Black River Falls.     Ricky was a musician in the Catfish Walker Band where he played base guitar and sang. The group recorded a CD, “Up from the Bottom” in 2002. He also worked as a plumber at Al Muth’s Harley Davidson Shop and for the last five years at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Black River Falls.

     He loved music, hunting, anything Harley Davidson, NASCAR, Packer football, taking his son Jesse to ice racing and dirt bike racing and anything with an engine.

     Ricky is survived by his wife, Lorrie; son Jesse of Fond du Lac; sister Susan (Keith) Husby of Plymouth, MN; nephew Christopher (Lucelia) Husby; niece Megan Husby; a great-nephew Parker; and great-niece Olivia, all of Minnesota. He is also survived by his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Harold Albright, Donna Kelsey, Rhonda Hernandez, Gail Bell, Donnie Albright and Leslie Pacheco, all of Wyoming, and Jodi Arthun of Montana. He leaves many caring cousins, especially his cousin/friend Rocky Walton.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvid and Delores, and his in-laws, Don and Marilyn Albright.

     A celebration of life will be held in May.
