Sandra Peterson

     Sandra Jean “Sandi” Peterson, 72, died Friday, March 18, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.

     Sandi was born Jan. 26, 1950, in Iola to Harvey and Lucille (Hansen) Peterson.

     Sandi was a high school graduate, a college graduate, and she went even further, earning a masters’ degree in education. Sandi loved to read. She was an excellent sketch artist and was always drawing something.

     She was an animal-lover, first, last and in-between. She loved horses, she boarded them and also gave riding lessons. She also loved her cats, especially Faust, Cicero and Cyrus.

     Surviving Sandi are her siblings, Rebecca (Bill) Galster, Douglas Peterson and Denise Grover; her niece, Amy (Aaron) Kirby; and other relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Evans “Tony” Littlegeorge.

     Private funeral services for Sandi have been rendered per Sandi’s and the family’s wishes.
