SANDY MOSELEY FRA-SER

Sandy Moseley Fraser passed away at the age of 72 Sept. 29, 2022, in Colorado Springs. Sandy was born in Neillsville, WI, Jan. 24, 1950. She grew up on a dairy farm near Hixton, WI. Her first years of schooling were in a one-room school house, then many hours riding the bus into Alma Center. After graduating from Lincoln High School in 1968, she attended Wisconsin Technical College of La Crosse WI. Sandy moved to Colorado Springs in October 1972 arriving in a “blizzard” of a snow storm.

     She and Don met each other in the Growing Edge class of First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs. Their first date was on Friday Oct. 13, 1978, and they were married on Saturday, Oct. 13, 1979. During the early years of their marriage, she continued working as a medical assistant to several doctors.

     Don and Sandy welcomed their first son, Dan, in 1981 and second son Tom, in 1984. When Tom started school, Sandy returned to work, this time at Mountain Ridge Middle School as an administrative assistant. Sandy retired from working in 2008 for medical reasons.

     In 2012, Sandy welcomed to our family her daughter-in-law Katie Muir, who married Tom. In 2016, Sandy became a grandmother for the first time when her grandson, Emmett, was born. In 2020, Sandy became a grandmother again when her granddaughter Haley was born.

     Sandy enjoyed many things in life, including spending time with her beautiful family and many friends and being a die-hard Packers fan. She enjoyed traveling by car, in their RV or on a cruise ship. She enjoyed the slots of Cripple Creek, Black Hawk, casinos along the way, and aboard a cruise ships.

     Sandy is preceded in her death by her dad. Robert Moseley, her mother. Verna Moseley, brother Fred Moseley and sister-in-law Joyce Gower Moseley. Sandy is survived by her husband, Don, her brother, Bob, her son, Dan, and her son, Tom, and his wife, Katie, and their two children, Emmett and Haley, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
