SHARON ENGEBRETSON

     Sharon Engebretson, 80, passed away peacefully April 9, 2024, at Pineview in Black River Falls.

     She was born April 19, 1943. She lived her whole life in Black River Falls and had several interesting jobs. July 2, 1965, she married Don Engebretson.

     Sharon loved the outdoors, hunting with her dad, her dogs and wolf phenology. She was an excellent seamstress, always sewing for herself and husband. She enjoyed woodworking and doing projects with her nephews and niece.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and parents, Frank and Sophie W.

     She is survived by her brother, Chuck (Janis) Wendell; nephews Mathew (Bridget) Wendell, Joshua Wendell and Jeremiah (Synthia) Wendell; niece, Mary (Martin) Anderson; along with great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin and Madelyn Anderson, Ryder Ambrose, Brecken, Kaitlyn, James and Graham Wendell.

     The funeral service for Sharon was held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at Torgerson’s Funeral Home in Black River Falls. A visitation was held at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls. Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
