SHARON MARIE DUPEE (HERZBERG)
Sharon Marie Dupee (Herzberg), 76, passed away peacefully on the early morning of June 5, 2025, under hospice care at her home in Merrillan, WI. Sharon was born to Clara Herzberg (Dickson) and Leonard Herzberg Jan. 31,1949.
Sharon graduated from Pittsville High School May 21, 1967. She was established with the National Honors Society and won the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. On June 3, 1967, she married Terance Dupee. They had three beautiful children together, Dee John, Waylon and Jolene.
She began her career at what was then Consolidated Papers in Biron, WI.
She dedicated many years of industrious service to the company, even as it changed hands. In July of 2008, she retired from New Page Paper Mill in Duluth.
Throughout her life, Sharon was known to everyone she met for her unending kindness, quiet strength and inspiring creativity. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, gardening and birdwatching. She taught her joy for the beauty and simplicity of everyday life to her children and her grandchildren, and her legacy will continue to live on in every hummingbird and craft project.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clara Herzberg (Dickson) and Leonard Herzberg; her husband, Terrance Dupee; brother Don Herzberg; and her sister-in-law, Joyce Herzberg.
She is survived by her partner, Steve Rosseter, whom she met in 2009. Together, they had many adventures across the country and built a beautiful life together. Additionally, Sharon is survived by her brother, William Herzberg; and her sister-in-law, Bee Herzberg, along with her children and their families, Dee John (and spouse Amy), Waylon (and partner Michelle) and Jolene (and partner Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Riley and her husband, Greg, Jacyn, Lexi, Caden and his wife, Jessica, Morgan, Devin, Tru and Greyson.
Sharon’s heart was open to all, and seeing her family grow and thrive was one of the great joys of her life.
The family will host an informal celebration of life June 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dexter Town Hall in Dexterville, WI.
Sharon’s memory continues to remind us all every day about the strength there is in kindness, the love there is in family and how lucky we truly are in this life.
